Why bother with consultations?
Being an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist is both rewarding and challenging. You support your clients in processing their traumas and wounds, negotiating with protective parts, all while continuing to monitor your own self energy. Sometimes it feels easy, and other times, not so much.
Clinical consultation is more than just a professional requirement; it’s a vital component of your development as a therapist. Seeking consultations will help you with:

- Enhancing Your Skills: Refine your therapeutic techniques and approaches
- Reflect on Your Practice: Gain insights into your clinical work, address any challenges, and celebrate your successes
- Learn about Your System: Recognize trailheads that influence your therapeutic work, unblend and understand positive intentions behind your protectors, provide healing to your own parts
- Ensure Ethical Practice: Navigate complex ethical issues and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
- Prevent Burnout: Receive support to manage the emotional demands of your work
